Benna Berger is a rising junior at Friends Central High School in Pennsylvania. A life long lover of athletics, she is a lacrosse player with aspirations to play in college. Learning about nutrition has been a key component in helping her maximize her potential on the field, which is why she wants to share that same knowledge with kids in order to better their lives. She started doing yoga when she tore her meniscus because she felt like it was something that could help her body but also help quiet her mind. As she continued to do yoga and meditate it became a key factor in affecting other aspects of her life such as her studies. Teaching children the skills to mediate will allow them to step out of their stressful lives and step into a quieter and calmer existence.
