Kaitlyn is 17 years old from Delray Beach, Florida and attends North Broward. She has not always been keen on health, wellness, and yoga but once she started applying the new healthy lifestyle that was being taught, she noticed how much better she felt. She believes yoga is an incredible stress reliever for the everyday, and that anyone can do even a basic form of it on their own! She believes that younger kids getting educated on what they need to put in their bodies in order to feel their very best is important! Schools unfortunately do not make learning about being healthy the most interesting topic, but Piece of Peace incorporates fun into it so the kids really do end up learning something. From her personal experience there is no better feeling then the kids coming back the next week and saying something along the lines of, “I checked the cereal box like you said, and there is so much processed sugar!”
