Lisa Nelson MD is a practicing family physician in Pittsfield, MA.  Dr Nelson currently serves as the Director of Medical Education for the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA and Medical Director of The Nutrition Center, a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire a healthy relationship with food through counseling, nutrition, and culinary education for school aged children.  Dr Nelson is co-author, with Annie B. Kay, of Yoga and Diabetes, published by the American Diabetes Association, Spring 2015.
